I am a librarian turned freelance writer, researcher and tutor based in Dublin, Ireland.
My writing has appeared in a variety of magazines including The Writer, Self, Girls' Life, Six78th, Learning Through History, YRB, Learn Overseas and the now-defunct Organize, as well as on sites such as SheKnows, Daily Candy London, Parenting Teens Online and WOW! Women on Writing. I've also had essays published in Chicken Soup for the Soul Getting In... to College, My First Year In the Classroom: 50 Stories That Celebrate the Good, the Bad and the Unforgettable, Women Reinvented: True Stories of Empowerment and Change and Homepages: Tales from the Irish Blogosphere, as well as contributed chapters to Dublin Explorer: The Complete Residents' Guide.
As a qualified Information Specialist holding a Masters degree in Library and Information Studies I have also served as a researcher for a variety of individuals and organisations, and as a tutor to a number of fellow writers. I enjoy guiding others so greatly that I now routinely offer writing workshops and courses, both here in Dublin and online. Visit my Courses page for full details.
Please feel free to browse my portfolio, find out what others say about my work, check out my latest news or contact me at any time.
